Ghirardelli Chocolate Chip Cookies -Sally

1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2  tsp. salt
2 1/4 cups flour
1 cup pecans
2 cups chocolate chips

Cream together the butter, sugars, vanilla, and eggs. Blend in remaining ingredients. Spoon onto cookie sheet; bake at 375° for 9-11 minutes.
