1 1/2 cups sugar
4 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup shortening or butter
3 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups raisins
2 cups nuts
Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet; cook for 10-15 minutes at 350°.
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup cream
powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Scald the butter and cream, then whip in sugar and vanilla. Frost cookies.
