Caramel Topping -Lisa

1 can Eagle brand milk
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Take label off of can; do not open can. Fill a saucepan with cool water, then place the unopened can into the water. Boil for about 3 hours, making sure the water covers the can at all times. Cool can and open- the milk will be caramelized. Add nuts and serve warm. Chill unused topping. Great for cake frosting, apple dip, and ice cream topping!
