Beef Stew -Jane

3-6 slices bacon
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 clove garlic
1 (8 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans beef broth
1 lb. beef stew meat
3-6 medium potatoes, cubed
4-6 carrots, sliced
1/2 tsp. thyme

Fry bacon until crisp; drain. Brown the beef, then add flour to the drippings. Combine all ingredients in a crock-pot. Cook for 6 hours.
