Broccoli Soup -Jane

2 cans clear chicken broth
2 (10 oz.) packages chopped broccoli
1 quart Half & Half
cornstarch
salt
pepper

Simmer broccoli in broth until tender. Add Half & Half. Thicken with cornstarch, and flavor with salt and pepper. When serving, top with grated cheese. You may also add chunks of chicken for more of a meal.
