In 2 quarts of water, cook beans for 3 hours or until tender. Add a can of diced tomatoes and chopped green chilies. In a frying pan, fry 1/2 lb. hamburger, one onion (chopped), and one green pepper (diced). Drain and add to beans along with salt and 2 Tbsp. chili powder. Simmer and serve.
