Pretzel Salad -Lynn

1 stick butter, melted
1 cup salted pretzels, crushed
1/3 cup sugar
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. cool whip
1/2 cup sugar

Mix together the butter, pretzels, and 1/3 cup sugar. Bake at 400° for 7 minutes; set aside and let cool. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese and sugar, then fold in the pineapple and cool whip. Add pretzels right before serving.
